A New Era of Component Management

The Median Component Service Agreement combines the benefits of traditional Power By hour or Flying Hour Agreements with real cost and transparency benefits of time and material quoted repairs.

The agreement framework is constructed in a way that offers both us and the operator multiple shared goals in regard to transparency, costs and reliability. In sharing these goals, we ensure that the focus is on performance through co-operation as opposed to a total focus on costs and contract coverage which can, in some instances, lead to a more adversarial relationship.

Key benefits of the program are:

  • Smooth predictable month to month expenditure, similar to an FHA or PBH agreement
  • Reduced administration time on the part of the operator
  • Complete transparency on repair prices (time and material, with an option for the airlines engineering to review)
  • Open book on all other related costs
  • Better component stock forecasting
  • Closer relationship between AerMaven and the operator
  • Ability to include any repairable components (Rotables, flying surfaces, seats etc)
  • Structured to produce annual savings
  • True focus on improved reliability
  • Option to introduce AerMaven enhanced repair program, integrated as part of the agreement to offer more time on wing, reduced failures, controlled repair costs, less admin costs, improved line engineering costs, and fewer delays

This essentially offers operators a true extension to their engineering materials team, and yields a streamlined, cost effective, and high quality material management and repair program at a fixed monthly cost.
